Andalo

Italy, Trentino-South Tyrol (➤ map)(➤ map)
A city (with about 1,300 thousand of inhabitants) in the province of Trento, in the Italian region of Trentino-South Tyrol, approx. 13 km (as the crow flies - 37 km on the road) northwest of Trento , the capital of the region (map(➤ map)). An important year-round tourist center.

Andalo lies on a wide saddle between the peaks of Piz Galin (2442 m) and Paganella (2125 m), approx. 4 km northeast of Lake Molveno .

The beginnings of the village date back to the Middle Ages. Today Andalo is an important holiday resort, both in summer and winter (Paganella-Andalo resort, with ski areas offering a total of approx. 40 km of slopes of varying difficulty and several lifts).
