Aprica

A village and commune (with approx. 1,600 inhabitants) in the province of Sondrio in Lombardy , in the north of Italy .


Aprica is located at an altitude of 1180 m above sea level, on a 3 km long and wide pass of the same name connecting the Valtellina and Val Camonica valleys. The main source of the commune's income is tourism: mountain biking in summer, and skiing in winter (the Aprica resort, offering a total of approx. 50 km of slopes of various difficulty levels).
